This site is a static archive of past issues of The Good Society. It does not use cookies, does not run analytics or tracking scripts, and does not collect visitor data of any kind. There is no way to submit a comment here, and there are no user accounts.
Pages on this site request two typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Loading a page therefore sends Google your device's IP address and browser user agent, so it can serve the requested font files.
A small number of posts embed a YouTube or Vimeo video. On those pages only, loading the page also loads a video player fromyoutube-nocookie.com or player.vimeo.com; those services then receive your device's IP address and browser user agent, and may set their own cookies if you press play. YouTube embeds use its privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.commode, which does not set tracking cookies until playback starts. No other pages make this request.
The site is served by Cloudflare, which handles delivery and security for every request and, like any host, sees standard request metadata (such as your IP address) in the course of serving pages.
No other information is collected, stored, or shared by this site.
